Compare chamber kilns for sawn timber by heating medium, charge volume, temperature range and moisture control. Published series ranges remain project questions until a schedule for your species and thickness is proposed.
The Tech Drying ZQ record publishes a 10–200 m³ series range, a 100 °C limit and four heating media. A series range is not the net charge for your boards: sticker thickness, board thickness and stack size change how much timber one chamber holds. State species, thickness, starting and target moisture content, weekly volume and the heat source you already have. Ask for a drying schedule, the expected cycle time and how final moisture will be sampled across the charge. Confirm whether the boiler, thermal-oil heater or electrical supply is inside the offer.
Compare the documented models before requesting offers
Use the same component or incoming material to ask each supplier a comparable question. The entries below identify a selection issue for each published record. They are not test scores or a ranking of manufacturers.
10–200 m³ series range, 100 °C maximum, steam, hot water, thermal oil or electric heating; steam rated to 1.27 MPa.
Confirm net timber volume per charge, the heat source in scope, the drying schedule for your species and how final moisture is sampled.
A missing answer stays unconfirmed. Working area, wheel diameter, tape height, motor ratings and process counts must retain their original labels; they are not interchangeable capacities. Keep accessories, handling, utilities and the sample acceptance job explicit when comparing offers.
Numeric ranges match where capacities overlap. Selected values must all match; series combinations require manufacturer confirmation.
