Profile wrapping, flat laminating and film slitting machines

Zaozhuang Tengda Woodworking Machinery makes profile wrapping machines in Shanting district, Zaozhuang, Shandong: cold-glue, hot-melt, PUR and "adjustment-free" wrapping machines, in-line wrapping units, flat laminating machines and PVC film slitters. Door-frame, skirting and wall-panel producers can buy the wrapper, the glue unit and the slitter from one supplier and compare glue systems side by side. [1]

Tengda hot-melt profile wrapping machine

The Tengda hot-melt profile wrapping machine bonds PVC film, decorative paper or veneer onto mouldings and profiles through a heated glue scraper. It handles film 20–300 mm wide at 20–50 m/min, draws 13.5 kW (5 kW average), uses a 20 kg glue drum and weighs 2500 kg in a 6000 × 1000 × 1800 mm body. It suits skirting, door casings and frame profiles; ask Tengda to confirm the glue type and the roller sets for your profiles. [2]

Equipment scope

Wrapping is the core product. The range covers cold-glue wrapping machines, hot-melt wrapping machines, PUR wrapping machines, adjustment-free wrapping machines, in-line wrapping units that follow a moulder or extruder, flat laminating machines for wide panels and PVC film slitters that cut film to width.

Tengda lists PVC film, decorative paper and wood veneer as facing materials, and sliding-door aluminium profiles, door and window frames, door-casing mouldings, skirting boards, curtain rods, picture frames, aluminium-plastic windows and bamboo-fibre wall panels as typical substrates. Wood-based mouldings, aluminium and composites need different glues, primers and pressure rollers, so state your substrate clearly. Surface preparation matters as much as the wrapper: MDF profiles are usually sanded or primed first, and dust left on the surface weakens the bond.

Roller sets and glue choice

A profile wrapper presses film onto each face of the profile through a sequence of rollers, and the roller set is specific to the profile shape. Moving from one skirting profile to the next can mean a different roller set or a long setting time. Ask how many roller sets are included, how changeover works and whether the adjustment-free model suits your product mix.

Cold glue, hot-melt EVA and PUR behave very differently in heat, cold and damp. Tengda's hot-melt product page also describes PUR bonding, so name the glue type and glue supplier in your order.

Project fit

Tengda fits smaller producers of wrapped mouldings, door casings, skirting and wall panels who need a dedicated wrapping machine and film slitter. The range covers the main glue systems in one catalogue, so cold-glue, hot-melt and PUR quotations can come from one source.

For complete automated lines with sanding, priming and stacking, or for references abroad, ask Tengda for documented examples.

Prepare a useful enquiry

Send drawings of each profile with dimensions and the tightest radius. State the substrate, the film or veneer type and thickness, glue preference, daily output in metres and the climate of use. Ask Tengda to propose the wrapper, roller sets and glue system, and to wrap samples of your profiles.

Request an itemised offer for the wrapping machine, glue unit, roller sets, slitter, spare parts and commissioning.

Questions before a written offer

Which company name goes on the contract?

The site uses three name forms. Ask for the business licence of the contracting company and match the contract, invoice and bank account to it.

Can one machine wrap all my profiles?

With the right roller sets and setting, usually yes. Ask for the number of sets included, the price of extra sets and the changeover time.

How do I judge the bond?

Ask for wrapped lengths of your own profiles and test them after heat and cold cycling similar to your end use.

Confirm in writing before ordering

  • Registered company name on the contract, invoice and bank account
  • Glue type the machine is configured for, and the glue supplier
  • Roller stations, roller sets included and changeover time per profile
  • Expected speed on your tightest profile
  • Power, air and fume-extraction requirements
