Estimate passage rate for your board length

The listed feed range is 6–30 m/min. This arithmetic estimates evenly spaced boards in one feed lane; it excludes setup, finish limits, rejected boards, loading constraints and stops. It is not a capacity claim or a parts-per-shift guarantee.

Ideal passage rate = feed speed × 1000 / (board length + gap).

Enter all three values to see the estimate.

Use only a supplier-confirmed feed setting for your material and finish. Measure first-pass accepted output separately on the actual job.

What this sander is built to do

A wide-belt sander feeds boards on a conveyor under an abrasive belt to bring them to an even thickness and a smooth surface. At 650 mm wide, this machine suits solid-wood parts, glued-up panels, door components and flooring strips rather than full-size sheets. The 2.5 mm lower thickness limit lets it sand thin parts such as drawer bottoms or veneered strips.

Width, thickness and length together

Every part has to fit all three ranges at once: 40–650 mm wide, 2.5–90 mm thick and at least 200 mm long. Short parts are the usual problem on a belt sander, because the conveyor and pressure rollers need enough length to hold the part. Send your shortest, narrowest and thinnest parts with the enquiry.

The 660 mm belt is wider than the 650 mm working width to cover the full board. Belt size tells you which abrasive belts to stock.

Feed speed and finish

The 6–30 m/min range lets the operator trade speed for finish. Heavy stock removal and fine finishes are normally run at the slower end; higher speeds suit light passes. Ask Shengwang which feed speed and grit it used to reach the finish in the sample run.

Compare with other sanders

Among the sanding machines on this site, this is the narrow end. For 1000 mm work, compare the Finetech SR-RP1000A twin-head sander; for 1900 mm, the Ronghongxiang MSGR-R1900 heavy wide-belt sander. For curved and edge sanding rather than calibrating, the Cuijia 910 × 100 curved, vertical and flat sander and the Chuancheng MM2420A belt sander do a different job.

A trial on your own boards

Send boards that show your real incoming thickness variation and surface. Ask Shengwang to sand them to your target finish and to record the grits, feed speed and stock removed, with thickness measured before and after at several points.

Buyer questions

What model is this?

The listing has no model code. Ask Shengwang to put the model code on the quotation.

Can it sand 200 mm parts at full speed?

Ask how short parts are held and at what speed they feed reliably.

How many belts should I order?

Ask for a recommended starter set by grit for your material.

Confirm in writing before ordering

  • Model code and head arrangement
  • Hold-down method for your shortest part
  • Grits and feed speed for your finish
  • Power, air consumption and extraction volume
  • Spare belts and wear parts included
